Arts in the City celebration: In recognition of Victoria as a Cultural Capital of Canada, Suddenly Dance Theatre has been invited to be part of this month-long City of Victoria sponsored event, featuring 'treasures' and 'hidden gems' of the city. Suddenly Dance Theatre presents a two-part program, inspired by Jean Cocteau and his famous struggle with addiction: a live dance performance featuring David Ferguson, Jung-ah Chung, Dominique Porte, Jennifer Wise, and Joanna Hood PLUS a special Director's Cut presentation of our recent dance film OPIUM.
Co-Directors Miles Lowry and David Ferguson will discuss the creation of their recent made-for-television dance film OPIUM, and their investigation of dance and media. More information TBA |
