A Quick Grab

This solo work fuses dance with experimental moving images. Playful and instinctive, A Quick Grab reveals the individual strength of facing everyday predicaments, with unrestricted movements of the body seeking impact with projected image. Jung-ah Chung is a Victoria-based choreographer and dance performer and the recipient of an M-Award for Victoria’s Favourite Choreographer (2006) and Favourite Dancer (2004).

A Quick Grab is part of Unoworks, a series of brave new solo-works-in-progress at Uno Fest: Canada’s Singular Live Theatre Event is North America’s longest-running festival dedicated to outstanding one-person live theatre. This is a rare opportunity to see staged readings and workshop presentations in development, created and performed by exciting Victoria artists and special guests.
