CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Suddenly Dance Theatre’s Fountain of Youth Program aims to support dance artists under the age of 26 to build new and diverse choreographic voices.
Our application is simple and not lengthy, though all applicants must provide a video link of their work as a dance creator.
2021 - 2023
Our latest dance film LUCKY MAYBE has become a series! Our next two 20 minute episodes TIGER IN THE CITY and HAENYEO will arrive in 2023. A fourth episode ROYAL OUI is in production.
Directed by David Ferguson with a soundtrack by Miles Lowry, LUCKY MAYBE is inspired by Korean folklore and absurdist silent-film comedy. Featuring Seoul's Hoyeon Kim.

IN A NUTSHELL
ANEW PLAY BY DAVID FERGUSON
Suddenly Dance Theatre's DAVID FERGUSON has been commissioned by the Belfry Theatre to write a new play starring LYNDA RAINO inspired by Frances Glessner Lee, who in the 1940’s made the ‘Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death’ - a series of dollhouse-sized death-scenes to teach the police how to conduct themselves in real-life crime scenes.
