Questions for the Dance Community

Suddenly Dance Theatre invites feedback from dance makers in our region! This information will help us facilitate future performance opportunities in Victoria, BC. 

 

To incentivize participation in Dance Survey 2021, we will offer a $500 award to one BC dance artist as nominated by survey participants.

Suddenly Dance Theatre's DAVID FERGUSON

continues to work with HOYEON KIM (South Korea) on the Dance Victoria Chrystal Prize awarded project 'We are Diamonds'. Featuring dancers Gunwoo Jun, Jungha Lim, Choe Youngtak, and Jooha Lee.

IN A NUTSHELL

A NEW PLAY BY DAVID FERGUSON

Suddenly Dance Theatre's DAVID FERGUSON has been commissioned by the Belfry Theatre to write a new play starring LYNDA RAINO inspired by Frances Glessner Lee, who in the 1940’s made the ‘Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death’ - a series of dollhouse-sized death-scenes to teach the police how to conduct themselves in real-life crime scenes.

David Ferguson wins Chrystal Dance Prize
