BODY LANGUAGE returns to celebrate and support Suddenly Dance Theatre in its 26th season. This visual art exhibition and fundraiser features an amazing collection of donated works by an exceptional group of artists.

All sales transactions are made and tracked through this website, with proceeds to support Suddenly Dance Theatre's new international collaboration We Are Diamonds.

Born and raised in Lekwungen territory, Victoria BC, Vandergugten works in the areas of intermedia, oil painting, and printmaking.

Nicholas Vandergugten's practice considers, among other things, the everyday conflict between personal needs and personal desires, and the internal battle inherent in having to choose between the two.

Past activities include co-facilitating youth workshops focused on art and social action with the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, and enjoying a residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts, Leightons' Colony.

Upcoming shows include: a video and sculpture installation at the Odeon Alley Window Gallery in April 2018; an exhibitions of video based work at Xchanges Gallery as well as Flux gallery in June 2018, and an ongoing painting project in partnership with Victoria BC's Ministry of Health, exploring portraiture of the modern civil servant.

Artworks are securely packaged in custom-built crates or packages.

International shipments may require additional information for customs paperwork. International shipments may be subject to additional local import taxes and/or duties to be paid only by the purchaser.

Local pick up at Gallery available.

Local delivery may be unpackaged.
